This product was developed based on the latest research conducted by scientists in Europe,
which showed high-glycemic carbohydrates (which cause a natural release of the anabolic
hormone insulin) significantly enhance muscle creatine uptake.
Further scientific evidence has shown that even athletes who don’t respond to regular creatine monohydrate supplementation are likely to become "responders" when they consume creatine along with a carbohydrate source that increases insulin. In a recent EAS-funded university study, scientists compared the effects of Phosphagen HP to those of regular creatine monohydrate and discovered both supplements enhance lean mass and strength compared with a placebo, but Phosphagen HP produces up to 160% greater gains in lean mass. In this study, Phosphagen HP also significantly improved sprint time (in a 100-meter dash) and maximum vertical jump, while supporting a reduction in bodyfat greater than that seen with the placebo or creatine by itself.
